Skeet Shooting From Low At Station Eight
Hi I’m Don Snyder, executive director of the National Skeet and Association on behalf of expertvillage.com.
We’re about to show you how to engage a low house eight target on a skeet field. Now, here is basically the same as a high house. You just look at the target, you move up to the target, you black it out, you pull the trigger, and the target should break.
Again, the thing that you need to remember is that if you have other shooters behind you on this field and you do not want to let the target get past center state. If it has, don’t try to engage the target. Don’t take the gun beyond that point because you do have shooters directly in back of you. Okay, now I will demonstrate. Now, one of the things here that is extremely important.
Here, we need to be about two feet or so outside the window of the house. Okay, now your going to do basically the same thing you did during the high house shot. You’re just going to move the shotgun up into the target, touch the target, pull the trigger, and the target should break. Now, I will demonstrate. PULL! And that should be a successful shot at a low house eight on a skeet field.
