Skeet Shooting From High At Station Six
Hi, my name is Don Snyder, Executive Director of the National Skeet Shooting Association, on behalf of ExpertVillage.com.
We’re located here at the National Shooting Complex to demonstrate the single high six shot from station six. One of the things here that you’ve got to do is stay focused on the target. The advertised lead here is approximately two foot of lead, and that equates to about two fingers of the barrel in front of the target.
And I’ve done this several times, but basically two fingers equates to two foot of lead. If you see the two fingers, that’s plenty of lead. Pull the trigger, follow through, stay focused on the target, and that will get you the shot. Now unlike the other shots we did at five and four, where we tried to break the target at the center stake, we want to let it come a little bit past the center stake, see our two fingers lead, and pull the trigger.
I’ll demonstrate. “Pull!” And that should be a successful shot at high six.
