Skeet Shooting From Low At Station Six
Hi, my name is Don Snyder, Executive Director of the National Skeet Shooting Association, on behalf of ExpertVillage.com. What we’d like to demonstrate to you now is engaging low house six on a skeet field.
Now low house six requires about one foot of lead, or one finger of lead, is what you basically should see when you engage this target. This target is going to seem a little bit faster because you’re closer to it, however, you place your hold point at a position where it will allow you to move the shotgun the instant you see the target leave the house.
So you’re moving the shotgun, you’re already out in front of the target, you see the one finger lead, and you pull the trigger keeping your head down, staying smooth to finish the shot. I’ll demonstrate. “Pull!” And that should be a successful shot in the completion of a low house six on a skeet field.
