Skeet Shooting From Low At Station Three
Hi, my name is Don Snyder, Executive Director of the National Skeet Shooting Association, on behalf of ExpertVillage.com. What we are going to do now is engage the low house target from station three. Now the lead here is approximately, as advertised, is approximately three foot.
Now what you need to see at the end of the barrel is approximately three fingers out in front, and I’ll try and show you what that is. Here’s the muzzle of the shotgun, but you need to be approximately three fingers out in front of that thing, looking at the target at all times.
Always focus on the target, that will allow you to follow through and maintain that three feet lead. Again what we’re going to do, again is the stance, we want to break the target approximately right at the center stake. I’ll load the shotgun. The muzzle’s always pointed in a safe direction. Load the shotgun about three quarters of the way back to the house, looking in the window to engage the target. “Pull!” And that should conclude a successful shot at station three low house.
